Install CricFy TV on FireStick & Android TV
Watching a match on the TV beats squinting at a phone. FireStick and Android TV both run CricFy TV — you just sideload it with a free helper app called Downloader. The whole thing takes about five minutes, and these steps work the same on a Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube or most Android TV boxes.
- 1
Allow installs from unknown sources
On FireStick, go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options and turn on Install unknown apps for the Downloader app. (On Android TV it's Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources.) If you don't see Developer options, open Settings → My Fire TV → About and click your device name seven times to unlock it.
- 2
Install the Downloader app
From the FireStick home screen, search for Downloader and install it from the Amazon Appstore (it's free). Android TV users can get Downloader from the Google Play Store.
- 3
Enter the CricFy TV APK link
Open Downloader, select the URL box, and type the direct link to the CricFy TV APK. Press Go and let it download. Tip: a short, memorable link or your own bookmarked URL is easiest to type with a remote.
- 4
Install and launch
When the download finishes, Downloader shows an Install button — select it, confirm, then choose Open. To save space, delete the APK file when Downloader offers to. CricFy TV now lives in your Apps row.
Get to it faster next time
Sideloaded apps don't always appear on the FireStick home row. Go to Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications, or move CricFy TV up via Apps & Channels → See All → select the app → Move. That puts it within easy reach for the next match.
