How to install CricFy TV on Android

Installing CricFy TV takes about two minutes. Because it's an APK rather than a Play Store app, there's one extra step — letting your browser install it — and after that it works like any other app. Here's the whole process in plain English, plus quick fixes if something goes wrong.

  1. 1

Allow your browser to install apps

Open Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps (the wording varies by phone), pick the browser you'll download with — usually Chrome — and turn on Allow from this source. On Android 7 and older there's a single Unknown sources switch under Security instead.

  2. 2

    Download the CricFy TV APK

Head to our download page and save the latest file. It's around 16 MB, so it finishes in a few seconds. If your browser warns that APKs "can harm your device", that's the standard notice for any file outside the Play Store — tap Download anyway to continue.

  3. 3

    Open the file and install

Pull down your notifications and tap the finished download (or find it in Files → Downloads). Tap Install, wait a moment, then tap Open. If a Play Protect prompt appears, choose Install anyway — it's just scanning an unknown app.

  4. 4

    Pick a match and watch

Launch CricFy TV, browse the live list and tap a game. There's no sign-up. If a stream is slow, open the server menu and switch to a backup — most matches have several.

Watching on FireStick, Android TV or PC

The same app runs on the big screen and on your computer — the only difference is how you get the file onto the device. We've written separate, focused walkthroughs for each:

If the install doesn't work

Most install hiccups come down to one of a few things. Run through these before trying again:

"App not installed" appears at the end
You usually have an older CricFy TV already on the device. Uninstall the old one first, then install the new APK. If that's not it, you may be low on storage — free up a little space and retry.
The install button is greyed out
The "install unknown apps" permission isn't on for the app you're installing from. If you opened the APK from the Files app, grant the permission to Files (not just your browser).
"There was a problem parsing the package"
The download was incomplete or corrupted, or the file is for a newer Android version than your device. Delete the file and download it again on a stable connection.
Play Protect keeps blocking it
Choose Install anyway on the prompt. You can also open Play Store → profile → Play Protect and pause scanning briefly, then re-enable it after installing.
The app installs but streams won't load
That's usually a server or network issue, not the install. Switch servers inside the app, check your connection, or try a VPN if your ISP blocks streaming. See our FAQ for more.
⚠️

Stay safe while sideloading

Only install the APK from a source you trust, keep "install unknown apps" turned off again once you're done, and consider a VPN. CricFy TV streams third-party content, so check what's legal where you live — see our safety & legal page.
