Watch the World Cup 2026 free on FireStick & Android TV
A World Cup match deserves a bigger screen than your palm. The good news: if you've got an Amazon FireStick or an Android TV, you can sideload CricFy TV and watch the 2026 tournament for free in the living room. Here's the whole process — it takes about five minutes and you only do it once.
Before you start
You'll need your FireStick set up and online, and a few minutes. We'll use a free app called Downloader to fetch the CricFy TV APK, because FireStick can't open the Play Store APK directly. If you'd rather see the full version with every option, our dedicated FireStick install guide has it.
Step 1: Allow unknown apps
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options and switch on Install unknown apps for Downloader. Don't see Developer options? Open Settings → My Fire TV → About and click your device name seven times to reveal it. On Android TV, the equivalent is under Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions.
Step 2: Install Downloader
From the FireStick home screen, search for Downloader and install the orange app from the Amazon Appstore. Android TV users can grab Downloader from the Play Store.
Step 3: Download the CricFy TV APK
Open Downloader, click the URL field, and enter the direct link to the CricFy TV APK. Press Go, wait for the download, then choose Install when it finishes. Downloader will offer to delete the file afterwards — say yes to save space.
Step 4: Open it and find the match
Launch CricFy TV from your apps, head to the football channels, and pick a feed for the fixture you want. Sideloaded apps sometimes hide at the end of your apps list — move CricFy TV nearer the front via Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications so it's ready for the next game.
Getting a smooth match on TV
- Wire it up if you can. A FireStick Ethernet adapter beats Wi-Fi for steady streaming.
- Sit it near the router. If you're on Wi-Fi, signal strength is everything for HD.
- Switch servers when one lags. Big games overload feeds — a backup server usually fixes it.
- Use a Bluetooth remote with a pointer if the touch-style menus feel awkward with the standard remote.
The honest legal note
cricfy-official.app isn't affiliated with FIFA or any broadcaster and hosts no streams. CricFy TV carries third-party content, which is a legal grey area in some places. Run a VPN on your FireStick, check your local laws, and use an official stream when one exists. See our safety & legal page.
